Ranon Herman

My Story

Ranon (like a run-on sentence) Herman is a reporter for GMI and a Master of Music Education student. He is an emerging professional in the field of sound artistry.

After teaching for several years he decided to pursue a masters in music education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). While at UIUC Ranon fell in love with film making, inspiring a career pivot into sound design and location sound engineering. After graduating in May he hopes to find a job in doing sound for a network news station.
